Roree’s senior shoot…St. Paul high school senior portraits
October 25, 2009
I had so much fun on my shoot with Roree. I did her brother’s portraits a couple of years ago and one thing these kids have in common is an awesome smile. We headed out to a nearby town known for it’s antique shops and historical status. The fall colors were amazing and totally flattered her beautiful coloring. Thanks for such a fun day, can’t wait to show you all of them!
Jay…St. Paul high school senior photography
October 25, 2009
Jay is totally into football and rodeo so it was fitting that we did his shoot at the St. Paul rodeo grounds. Most of the year the rodeo arena is planted with grass and serves as the towns football field. It was pretty cool to walk around the field with no one else there. Thanks for a fun shoot! Good luck in playoffs!

Smith Rock Family portraits-Bend OR Photography
October 25, 2009
I jumped at the chance to photograph both of these awesome sisters and their families when they asked me about shooting over in the Bend area. I have known them forever and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to create stunning images for them. We picked a sketchy month for weather but lucked out with bright blue skies and gorgeous sunlight. Who would guess it was October! Here is a sneak peak at just a smattering of my favorites for you to enjoy.
Thanks for putting up with the hiking and rock climbing today! It paid off big time though!

sweet, sweet baby-newberg baby photography

I have known Jessica and Jim for quite a while and did their wedding a few years back. They are such an adorable couple and their wedding was super romantic and intimate with only candles and twinkle lights giving a glow to the ceremony. When she emailed me to tell me she was pregnant I was thrilled for them, however, it broke my heart when I found out that Jim wouldn’t be able to be here for almost her entire pregnancy as he is in the Marines and was deployed. Her mother told me how they wanted to find out what they were having but not having Jim here made it tough. So Jessica decided to have them write it down and not tell her. Later she was internet chatting with him and held the paper up to the screen so he could be the first to find out! I find it so sweet how many little things she did to help him be as present as possible through the pregnancy. He made it home before the delivery and was able to be with his wife to welcome their baby girl into the world. Thank you guys so very much for sharing her with me and helping me capture her tiny lovely-ness. I really do melt when I think about your story!

lovebirds, a picnic, and a bottle of wine…
June 1, 2009
Sounds like the perfect afternoon to me! I have known Heather for years and she is such a doll, she and Brian really compliment each other. He proposed to her at a lovely little winery with a picnic lunch and a bottle of wine. Props to him for that creativity! We decided to do their engagement shoot out at an amazing park close to my hometown. I love the open grassy fields and giant trees, and secluded nature of the park. There were a ton of people there but we found some great spots to get the perfect images! They even brought their awesome little dog Cruise to be in the pictures. I am really looking forward to their wedding this fall. I love you guys hope you enjoy these!

twins!
May 31, 2009
I am in complete awe of this mom! She has two amazing little boys and just had lovely twin baby girls. Watching her with her new girls she is very soft spoken with loads of patience. We spent a few hours together getting the babies to sleep and comfortable so we could get these adorable images. She had this great trick for getting her girls to sleep by turning the radio up, full blast, to a static or white noise channel. I was stunned at how well it worked. I wish I had known about that a few years ago! Thanks for sharing your baby angels with me Peggy, and props on your rockin body! If I didn’t know better I would think you’ve never had babies!

yummy earth lollipops
May 30, 2009
My girlfriend Heather gave me a lollipop the other night while we were waiting at the hospital for my new nephew Maxwell to be born. It was a yummy earth lollipop and was the most delicious, fruity, amazing lollipop I have ever tasted! I have been craving them since she gave me one and finally tracked them down today at Whole Foods. They come in mini bags of about 15 or so and are super inexpensive (so buy a lot because you will run out!). They are totally organic so no scary chemicals for my kids to ingest and made with all natural fruit. Here is the web link to their site, I hope you all get some and enjoy! Pomegranate is my fave!
